I can only find the Web Jet admin software and it seems different. This will display your network configuration. I think the software was called HP Jet admin but I can't find a version that installs on XP. Right-click on the Start button and select Run and then Type CMD and hit enter. I remember in the old days HP had a software that would allow you to configure a printer using the MAC address. I tried exploring the settings on my router (using the web interface) but there isn't an option to hardcode the IP address to the MAC address.Īnd I checked Windows XP software and I only find that I can set up the printer using a TCP/IP port.
